Meet Our Doctor

Nashville Family Dental

Overview

Dr. Zubia was born in California, and her family relocated to Indiana when she was a child. Growing up in Greenwood, she attended Center Grove schools before attending Xavier University. She did not always know she wanted to be a dentist but was working towards a career in healthcare. After finding a letter she had written to herself in the 3rd grade and talking with her family dentist, she continued to dental school at Indiana University where she found her passion in patient care and healing smiles.

Starting her career at a large, fast-paced private practice, Dr. Zubia quickly learned it was not a good fit. She went on to care for patients at a small Southport family practice, where she loved putting patients at ease with her quirky jokes and gentle care. Her greatest achievements continue to be the trust she has built with patients and the dental fears she has helped patients overcome.

In her spare time, Dr. Zubia enjoys spending time with her friends, family and her husband, Adam & two rescue dogs, Luna and Jade. You might see her walking “the girls” around town evenings and weekends. She loves reading, crafting, live music and cooking/baking new recipes, especially with her sourdough starter, Stella. Dr. Zubia and her husband, Adam, also enjoy off-roading, where she provides the moral support and snacks and he drives their buggy (rock bouncer) up and down rocky trails.
